Our history begins in 1992. The company founder Mr Navnit M Patel has just come back to Kenya after furthering his studies in the USA – He notices a gap in the Kenyan Market – Portable Safe drinking water is near impossible to find – those aware of this need either felt the product was elitist / exclusive or were forced to adopt alternative methods such as boiling water to make water safe for drinking. Its against this backdrop that Alpine was founded and embarked on changing people's perceptions by making Safe drinking water available to all, a tap press away, hot or cold.
